In the summer of 2015 the national women's volleyball team participated in the European League. 6 teams participated in the event, Greece, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Poland and Turkey and in the first phase they competed in a group with double matches.

The home court of the Greek team was in Megalopolis, Arcadia, where Greece made 3 victories out of 6 in total. Greece with 20 points finished in third place in the group behind Turkey and Hungary. The first four teams advanced to the Final 4 of the tournament in Szombathely, Hungary.

The semifinals and finals were judged in double matches. Greece as the third faced the second Hungary while the first Turkey the fourth Israel. Greece lost both semifinals 3-2 and 3-1 and won the bronze medal. In the finals, although Hungary prevailed 3-0 in the first match, they were defeated 3-1 by Turkey in the second and then in the "golden set" the Hungarian team, 15-13, won the trophy.

Anthi Vasilantonaki was a key member of the national team even though she was only 19 years old at the time. Although she did not play in several games due to injury, this jersey was used by her in European League and specifically, among others, in the semifinals against Hungary where the national team wore the dark blue shirt.
