AEK played in the 2013-2014 season in the Third National Divison, in the most difficult moment of its history. The team had been relegated from the Super League to the 2th division last year, but the management decided to participate in the 3th division in order to write off the huge debts that existed.
With coach Traianos Dellas, AEK comfortably won the first place in the 6th group of the Third National. The following season AEK won the Football League championship just as comfortably and so in the 2015-2016 season he returned to the first division.
Despite the adventure in the Third National, AEK in collaboration with puma wore a very beautiful jersey. In the amateur categories, there are no names on the shirts of the teams and so in the back of the shirt there was the sponsor Fujitsu and below the number of each player.
