One of the most beautiful jerseys of the Greek national team was worn in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers and in the first UEFA Nations League 2018-2019. After the failure of Greece in the UEFA Nations League, after finishing behind Finland and Hungary in the second group of the third category, it aimed to qualify for Euro 2020 through the qualifiers.

In the Euro qualifiers, Greece was in the same group as Italy, Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Liechtenstein and Armenia. Despite some good performances by Greece, such as the 2-2 in Bosnia and the victory over Bosnia in Athens as well as the good performance despite the 2-0 defeat in Italy, the Greek team was defeated by Armenia 2-3, lost to Finland 1-0 and drew 1-1 with Liechtenstein in Athens. All this led Greece to 3^th place in the group, behind Italy and Finland, and failed to qualify for the European Championship.

This jersey is worn by Kostas Manolas in the Euro 2020 qualifiers as there are the corresponding patches on the sleeves. Kostas Manolas, as well as Socratis Papastathopoulos, played until the game with Liechtenstein for the 6^th fixture of the qualifiers. From then on, after an upset caused in the locker room after the 1-1 draw with the opposing team, they were left out of the national team and did not play in the games that followed.
