Lyon's road in the UEFA Champions League stopped one step before the final in 2020. In the round of 16, Lyon eliminated Juventus after beating it 1-0 in France and losing 2-1 in Turin. From there, the event continued in the form of Final 8 in Lisbon in August due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
