After a very successful season with Panathinaikos, Emily Konstantellou was in the Panaxiakos team for the 2020-2021 season. The team of Naxos started the Volley League championship having a very good roster and aiming for something positive.

After 4 games, the championship was temporarily stopped due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and the lockdown that prevailed in Greece. In a championship that was held in two groups, Panaxiakos was in group B together with Olympiakos, PAOK, Thetis, Porfiras, Aias and AEK. In the first 4 games, Panaxiakos made a break and three victories and was one of the favorite teams for the trio that would continue in the second phase.

The lockdown and the long interruption created problems for the Naxos team. Coach Apostolos Oikonomou as well as all the athletes were transferred to other teams either in Greece or abroad. Thus, the resumption of the championship, about two months later, found Panaxiakos to have retired from the Volley League. However, then the championship was stopped for good and was never completed.

Emily Konstantellou was one of the top players of the team in the games that took place. The Panaxiakos middle-blocker returned to Panathinaikos with the resumption of the championship and continued her good performances. This shirt was worn only twice in an official game, against Aias and Thetis
