The 2003-2004 season brought another title to Iraklis while at the same time the Thessaloniki team again reached the Final 4 of the CEV Champions League without, however, making the breakthrough.

In the A1 championship, Iraklis had fluctuations in his performance. After 22 matches, the team of Alekos Leonis achieved 18 victories and finished behind Panathinaikos and Olympiacos. This resulted in facing Panathinaikos in the semi-finals knowing two defeats, with 3-2 and 1-3. In the qualifying matches, they defeated PAOK twice and took third place. Nevertheless, in the Cup, Iraklis managed to reach his goal. The Final 8 took place in Orestiada. Iraklis beat AE Patras in the quarter-final 3-2 and PAOK in the semi-final 3-1. In the final, Iraklis faced Olympiakos. Even though the reds won the first set, Iraklis pulled off the upset and won the Cup 3-1 with Nikolay Jeliazkov as MVP.

In the CEV Champions League, Iraklis made great appearances. In the group stage, they finished first ahead of Lokomotiv-Belogorie Belgorod, Macerata and Dukla Liberec. In the playoffs they eliminated Paris Volley and advanced to the Final 4. However, at the Final 4 in Belgorod they were defeated by Russian Iskra Odintsovo in the semi-final 3-0 and Tours 3-2 in the bronze medal game to finish fourth.

This jersey was used by Panagiotis Mavrakis in the league matches and for this reason there is no European patch on the sleeve. Iraklis mostly wore the white jersey that season. Mavrakis was one of the outside hitters of the team without, however, having a key role in most games.
