Panserraikos returned to the Super League in 2023-2024 after 12 years. Coached by Pablo Garcia, the Serres team not only managed to stay in the division, but had a very good season.

The championship started with a difficult game against Olympiakos, where Panserraikos was defeated 2-0, but in the next game they managed to draw 1-1 at the home of AEK. After 26 matches, Panserraikos achieved 6 wins and 9 draws, resulting in being in 9^th place. In the playoffs, the team's performance was even better, which easily ensured their stay in the Super League. In fact, Panserraikos was in 7^th place, the best possible in the playoffs, with 38 points.

Kosta Aleksic was the team's main striker for most of the season. He scored 7 goals and 2 assists in 24 appearances in the league and 5 appearances in the Greek Cup. Panserraikos used an all-red look, one white and one light blue. A major differentiation that was introduced was the sponsor on the back. After half of the season the sponsor Q-Energia was used under the players number. This jersey was worn in several of Aleksic's games during the championship.
