The 2019-2020 season was special as the Super League, like all the championships, was interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic for about 3 months. However, despite the interruption, the Super League continued and ended in the summer of 2020.

Olympiacos finished at the top of the league in the first round of the championship without making any defeats in 26 games. In the play offs, the "red and whites" suffered their only defeat in the league, from PAOK with 0-1 in Georgios Karaiskakis. With great ease, Olympiacos became champion for the 45^th time with 91 points in a total of 36 games and with PAOK second with 73 points.

Olympiacos made the double after winning the Greek Cup, although the final against AEK took place with a delay, after many postponements, in September 2020 in Volos. Olympiacos, with a goal by Lazar Randjelovic, became the 2019-2020 Cup Winner.

This jersey was worn by left back of Olympiacos from Serres, Kostas Tsimikas, in several games of the season. Due to the lack of a central sponsor, the teams did not have Super League patch on sleeve. Kostas Tsimikas played in 20 Super League matches and 14 Champions League and Europa League matches in the 2019-2020 season, impressing with his performance. In the summer of 2020, he was acquired by the English champions Liverpool.
