Maroussi made an impressive season in 2009-2010 in the Euroleague. After excluding Aris and Alba Berlin in the Euroleague qualifiers, played in the Group Stage. In the first game, Maroussi lost by CSKA Moscow 65-66 after an amazing game but finished the Regular Season with a historic victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv. Maroussi qualified by finishing 4^th behind CSKA Moscow, Caja Laboral and Maccabi Tel Aviv and left out Roma and Olimpija Ljubljana.

In the Top 16 Maroussi was in the same group with Panathinaikos, Barcelona and Partizan. After a great victory over Panathinaikos and Partizan, it was a breath away from qualifying for the quarterfinals, but the already excluded Panathinaikos defeated Maroussi 82-79, with the result that both Greek teams were eliminated.

Homan's jersey was worn in the Euroleague qualifiers. In particular, the black appearance was worn in the game in Alexandrio and in Berlin, in the two away games of the qualifiers. That's why there is no Euroleague logo, but there is "MAROUSSI" on the back below the number. Homan played two "terms" in Maroussi, the 2005–2006 season and the 2009-2010 season, and was the team's main center.
