In the summer of 2015, the Greek national team returned to the World League after many years. The first round took place in Mexico and apart from Greece and Mexico in the same group were China and Slovakia. Greece won the first game with Mexico 2-3, lost to China 2-3 and beat Slovakia 3-2.

The second round took place in Thessaloniki. Greece started with a 3-0 victory over Mexico, beating Slovakia 3-2, but lost again to China with the same score, 2-3. Thus, Greece finished 2^th in the group and was left out of the playoffs.

A few weeks later, Greece participated in the European League. In a group with Slovenia, Turkey, Romania, Croatia and Belarus, Greece with 7 wins and 3 losses was 2^th behind Slovenia and failed to qualify for the Final 4.

Nikos Palentzas was a member of that team and played mainly in the games of the European League. This jersey was worn in both competitions and is one of the three used by the national team that summer.
