After a great career, Roberto Baggio ended his career on May 16, 2004. Brescia's game against Milan at the San Siro was the farewell for the Italian footballer. Roberto Baggio has gone down in history as the player who missed the last penalty in the 1994 World Cup final against Brazil and gave the title to Seleção.

Baggio was one of the most talented attacking midfielders of the 90's. He started his career in Vicenza and then went through Fiorentina, Juventus, Milan, Bologna, Inter and Brescia, so he played in the top teams of Italy. He won the Italian championship and cup with Juventus in 1995, as well as the Uefa Cup in 1993 and won the championship with Milan in 1996. Baggio's nickname was "Little Buddha" because of his kiss in Buddhism.

In his last game, Milan's fans did not forget his passage from their team and adored the "little Buddha" who was replaced in 84' by Giuseppe Colucci. Milan won 4-2 and won the championship. The Brescia players had the date and details of the match on their sleeves and the caption "Grazie Roby!" below ("Thank you Robbie") in honor of Baggio.
