Olympiacos in the 2015-2016 season continued its successful course in women's volleyball. They won the Greek Championship and Cup and made a very good run in the CEV Challenge Cup.
In the championship, Olympiacos finished first with 21 victories in 22 games. Olympiacos was defeated only by Pannaxiakos away match with 3-1. In the playoffs they eliminated Pannaxiakos with 2-0 victories and in the finals prevailed with 3-0 victories of AO Thira (3-0, 1-3 and 3-0) and won the 4th consecutive championship, having MVP Katerina Giota and coach Branko Kovacevic.
In the Greek Cup, Olympiacos easily reached the Final 4 of Chios. In the semifinal it was difficult to beat Panathinaikos with 3-2 while in the final they easily defeated AEK with 3-0 (25-18, 25-8, 25-13). Tzina Lambrousi emerged as the most valuable player of the final.
In the Challenge Cup, the red and whites reached the round of 16. There they were eliminated by CSM București in the "golden set". Olympiacos won the first game 3-0 and lost the second 3-1. The Romanians won the "golden set" and the qualification with 15-13.
Tzina Labrousi was one of the best players of Olympiacos that year as well. She was the main Middle-blocker, together with Katerina Giota, and played in almost all the games of the year. This jersey was worn both in Greek and European games. That is why there is the logo with the Greek flag and the name of the athlete is written in Latin characters.
