In 2020, Milan turned 120 years old. On the eve of her "birthday", in the game against Sassuolo on December 15 2019 at the San Siro, Milan wore her anniversary appearance for the first time. This jersey had slight differences from the one used from the beginning of the season. The differences were that the mark was gold, as was the sponsor, while it was written under the "120" mark. In the golden numbers of the players was written the phrase "Rosso come il fuoco, Nero come la paura che incuteremo agli avversari", meaning "Red as fire, Black as the fear that we will instill in our opponents", a phrase that the first leader had said of Milan, Herbert Kilpin. The same phrase is written in English on the front of the shirt with very distinctive letters.

In addition, 1899 genuine copies of this jersey were released which are numbered, in honor of the year the team was founded. The copy number is written at the bottom right. Its price was also symbolic, € 189.9.

Until the end of the season, which was delayed due to COVID-19, this jersey was the main appearance of Milan. It was combined with the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the team. Ibrahimovic was the leader of Milan for the rest of the season and with his decisive performances the team managed to get the "ticket" for next year's Europa League by returning to the European competitions.
