In the Final 4 of Berlin in May 2016, CSKA Moscow won the Euroleague for the 7^th time. Dimitris Itoudis' team was excellent throughout the season and after eliminating the Red Star in the playoffs and Lokomotiv Kuban in the semifinals, they faced Fenerbahce in the final. Obradovic and Itoudis after 13 years of cooperation at Panathinaikos were now rivals in this final, at the stadium where together they won the Euroleague in 2009 coaching Panathinaikos with a roster of the best in European history.

CSKA was even ahead with 20 points in the first half but Fener was impressive in the second half. In fact, the Turkish team took a breather from the victory but 2 seconds before the end CSKA equalized with a basket of its leader, Victor Khryapa. In overtime CSKA was better and with De Colo (who was also the MVP of the final), Teodosic and Hines playing almost perfectly, they reached the victory with 101-96.

Ο Σέρβος Μίλος Τεόντοσιτς ήταν από τους καλύτερους παίκτες της ΤΣΣΚΑ όχι μόνο στον τελικό αλλά σε όλη τη σεζόν. Η φανέλα αυτή είναι δώρο από τον φροντιστή της ομάδας μετά τον τελικό. Φορέθηκε κατά τη διάρκεια της σεζόν αλλά όχι στο Final 4 του Βερολίνου καθώς οι ομάδες είχαν ραμμένο το λογότυπο του Final 4 και όχι το κλασικό σήμα της Euroleague. Το σχέδιο αυτό φορέθηκε από την ΤΣΣΚΑ και την επόμενη σεζόν αλλά το 2016-2017 το λογότυπο της Euroleague ήταν χρυσό προς τιμήν των κατόχων του τίτλου.
