The European Women's Volleyball Championship was held in 2021 in Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia. Greece, after qualifying easily, found itself in Group B, which was held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, with rivals Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Spain and Germany.

Although Greece qualified with 6 victories in 6 games in the qualifiers and in fact having an excellent roster did not manage to win a single game. First came the 3-0 defeat by the host team Bulgaria and then the 3-0 defeat by the strong Poland as well. Spain, which Greece had won twice in the qualifiers, was the next opponent. Spain led twice in the sets but in the tie break Greece took the lead with 8-3. However, Spain made the comeback and took the victory with 3-2 sets. The match with the Czech Republic, of the Greek coach Giannis Athanasopoulos, was decisive but Greece may have come very close to winning the first two sets and finally lost 3-0 (24-26, 26-28, 15-25). The match with Germany was procedural for the Greeks and despite fighting it, they lost again with 3-0. Thus, Greece did not win in five games and was in 6^th place in the group with Poland being first, Germany second, Bulgaria third and the Czech Republic fourth.

Konstantina Vlachaki was a starting outside hitter in all five games of Greece having a good presence despite the defeats while she scored 49 points in 5 games. Vlachaki was also a key player in the qualifiers and was decisive in those games. This jersey was worn in the games against the Czech Republic and Poland and was one of the three used, along with a white and a dark blue. There is also a detail regarding the qualifying jerseys. The first three games of the qualifiers took place in Larissa and in those only three games in the sponsor's logo is written in Greek the "ΕΘΝΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΑΣ" in contrast to the next games in Austria but also in Eurovolley where it says "NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE”.
