Shortly before the start of the 2015-2016 season, Panachaiki, which returned to the Volley League after a year of absence, acquired the middle-blocker Giannis Takouridis, who until then played for Olympiakos. Panachaiki aimed to stay in the big category and reach as high as possible.

With coach Panagiotis Papadopoulos at the beginning of the season, Panachaiki had a tough start. Until December he had 3 victories in 9 games. The season ended for the team of Patras in 8^th place, remaining in Volley League, without risking relegation but also without approaching the first four places of the playoffs.

In the League Cup "Nikos Samaras" Panachaiki was in group A with Olympiakos and Foinikas Syros. The red and blacks suffered two defeats, 3-2 by Foinikas and 3-0 by Olympiakos, and were eliminated as third. Also, in the Greek Cup, Panachaiki was unlucky. In the round of 16, it was faced with Olympiakos and lost 1-3, staying out of action.

This jersey was worn by Giannis Takouridis at the beginning of the 2015-2016 season.
