Ergotelis had one of the best seasons in its history in 2010-2011. The team of Heraklion, having established itself in the Greek Super League in which it was first in 2006, managed to finish in 8^th place.

Under the coach of Nikos Karageorgiou, Ergotelis built a remarkable team and managed to achieve 11 wins, 6 draws and 13 losses in a championship of 30 matches. In Pankritio, Ergotelis was defeated only 5 times and managed to use his home to a great power. Mario Budimir and Sergio Leal were the top scorers of the team with 6 goals and finally Ergotelis reached the 8^th place in the league after 30 matches. However, the fifth Olympiacos Volos and the seventh Kavala were punished with relegation and actually Ergotelis moved up two more places with the validation of the standings.

In the Greek Cup, Nikos Karageorgiou's team was defeated in the first game and eliminated by PAS Giannena.

Giorgi Shashiashvili was a Georgian right back who was acquired from Austrian side Sturm Graz and played for three seasons in Ergotelis. In 2010-2011 he was a starter in most of his team's games and also scored a goal. This shirt was worn by him in specific games, as the all-yellow shirt sponsored by good.gr was worn in very few games.
