Eurobasket 2022 was a big challenge for Greece. With coach Dimitris Itoudis and a roster full of quality, the Greek team aimed high.

The start was excellent as Greece went 5 out of 5 in the group stage and finished first. Group C in which Greece participated was hosted at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan. Greece beat Croatia, Italy, Great Britain, Ukraine and Estonia in order to advance to the Round of 16.

In the Mercedes-Benz Arena, now in Berlin, the next opponent was the Czech Republic. With 94-88, Greece prevailed and advanced to the quarterfinals. There, the host Germany made an impressive appearance and with 107-96 put an end to the course of Greece and continued until winning the bronze medal.

Nike dressed the Greek national team in a major event after the distant 2005. This shirt was first worn in the Acropolis Tournament 2022 and of course in the Eurobasket 2022. In the rest of the friendlies as well as in the World Cup qualifiers, Greece wore a different version of Nike even in the games that took place in the same period. This design was also worn in Canada's pre-Olympic tournament in the summer of 2021, however the chest sponsor was Eurobank and not OPAP. Dimitris Agravanis competed in all Eurobasket games having a very positive image. This shirt was used both in the group games and in the playoffs of the competition.
